Joseph R. McGonigle

Capt. Joseph R. McGonigle, retired U.S. Navy Reserve, died Sept. 17, 1991, in a Corpus Christi nursing home. He was 78.

Survivors include his wife, Vera; a daughter, Morey Weldon of Austin; two sons, Robert McGonigle of San Antonio and Michael McGonigle of Port Isabel; a brother, Edward McGonigle of Fairfax; a sister, Helen McEvoy of Quincy, Mass.; and two grandsons.

Burial was in Belton, Texas.

Cage-Mills-Jackson-Langham Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel.
